Processor Series

Intel

At present, the most widespread is the 4th generation of Intel processors, named "Haswell", which is gradually being replaced by a new type - "Broadwell".

Intel Celeron and Pentium
These series offer less power and are suitable for laptops, particularly for simple office work and entertainment. Their lower frequency and lesser cache memory is compensated for by their lower purchase price.

The Intel Core series perform at a much higher level. They are further divided into 3 categories, which indicate the approximate overall performance. The individual processor models within the same range can vary considerably, not only according to the technology used and performance, but also the number of cores.

• Intel Core i3
• Intel Core i5
• Intel Core i7

AMD

• A8
• A10
